In 2009, very strict penalty regulations were approved in Spain regarding all those companies not able to give sufficient evidence of their transactions with associated parties. However, during the last years, revisions on transfer pricing documentation performed by the Tax Inspection have only been a few.

This situation has changed, and lots of Spanish companies are now required to submit their yearly “Country File” and “Master File” for revision. All those enterprises not able to comply with these regulations are subject to very high penalties.

Should your clients require the corresponding documentation for Spain to be prepared (not only regarding previous years, but also the current and future ones), our experts in this field shall be pleased to send you a cost estimate.
